Great musicians...that is what makes a great band, and Adam has been blessed with many wonderful and talented musicians. I thought that it would be neat to do a write up on some of the musicians that play with our band.
Enjoy,
Adam Sandhurst
Ron Sandhurst, the father of Adam Sandhurst, grew up near a little town in southwestern Minnesota called Fulda . Ron played trumpet through grade school and into high school where he was involved with jazz band, pep band, and marching band. In high school he was approached by his Uncle Vince Sandhurst with a library of music that was written by Walt Siegmann. Vince formed “Vince’s Concertina Band” and Ron played the 1st trumpet book throughout the band’s existence. In 1976, they made a recording called “Here Comes Vince’s Concertina Band”. Ron was also in a band called “The Jolly Four” which was founded by Daryl Hassebroek. The band was based out of Iona , Minnesota and also involved Leroy Stoffer (drums), and Randy Sandhurst (tuba).
Ron has played on “Adam Sandhurst & The Jolly Jammers” ever since it
has been in existence in 2000, and has never missed a dance job yet. Ron
adds a nice touch to the band bringing back sounds of the “Ivan Kahle Band”
with his trumpet playing style. Ron does most of the vocals and is also
featured on baritone too. Ron has successfully completed four recordings
with “Adam Sandhurst & The Jolly Jammers” - “Keeping the Tradition”,
“Memories Are Precious”, “Premium Old Tyme Music”, “Going Back To My Homeland”,
& "Lost & Found".
Karen (Muehlbauer)

meeting her future husband (Ron Sandhurst) at Gibbon Polka Days, she was

Brent has played with “Adam Sandhurst & The Jolly Jammers” ever since

that adds a lot of life to the band. Being inspired by great drummers like
Jeff Langen , Brent has continued to progress. Brent has successfully completed
four recordings with “Adam Sandhurst & The Jolly Jammers” - “Keeping
the Tradition”, “Memories Are Precious”, “Premium Old Tyme Music”, “Going
